The resort is building a town centre in the centre of the property and apartments on the perimeter. Work is limited to 8am-5:30pm, with noisy work after 10am on Tues. and Thurs. only. Construction is visible upon arrival and from some rooms (Junior Gardenview Suites) but it does not affect public areas.

Overlooking the Atlantic, The Crane has half a mile of ocean frontage and is located approximately 10 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport. Built in 1887 and fully restored and expanded in the 20th century, this property sits on the secluded Coral Beach, which is protected by a natural coral reef.

Hotel amenities include The Crane Beach Pool, which sits on the cliff's edge overlooking Crane Beach and a newly developed multi-cascading pool complex, The Cliff Pools, featuring waterfalls and a children's wading area. This new pool complex also features an open-air Jacuzzi and pool bar set in a restored 19th-century stable. The on-site L'Azure restaurant serves fresh seafood and has panoramic sea views. Zen has classic Thai and Japanese cuisine, along with traditional Tatami rooms, a sushi bar, and private dining options. The new Carraige House Poolside Restaurant serves light cuisine and cocktails in an informal and casual setting. Wireless connection is available in the lobby and pool areas.

All rooms feature high ceilings, coral stone walls and hand-crafted mahogany furnishings. In-room Internet access is available in all units.
