The LaPlaya Resort is a nine-story oceanfront resort and is located on the more secluded northern end of Daytona Beach and offers a fully equipped kitchenette and private balcony where you can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and spectacular views from every room. The LaPlaya Resort is well know as the entertainment oasis offering a wide variety of entertainment options from seasonal live entertainment on the pool deck, the Tiki Bar serving lunch and beverages seasonally and Bonkers Comedy Club located in the Penthouse Lounge where you can catch your favorite comics from HBO, Cinemax, Comedy Central, and much more. The LaPlaya Resort offers an outdoor pool, indoor splash pool, three whirlpools, a tiki bar serving lunch and drinks seasonally, seasonal recreational program for families, shuffleboard court and the Veranda Restaurant serving breakfast daily. Other amenities include, a fitness center, 24-hour front desk, laundry facility and self-parking. The hotel offers complimentary wireless internet access located throughout the building. The resort is located 2.5 miles from the Convention Center, Ocean Walk Shoppes and the Daytona Beach Fishing Pier. Located directly across the street from the Resort is a wide variety of shops, restaurants and a grocery store where you can stock up on food and essentials. Extra Person Policy: There is a 10 per person, per day charge for the 3rd and 4th persons in a room. This fee is to be paid directly to the hotel upon check-in. Children 17 and under, accompanied by parents are excluded from this fee. No pets allowed.
